Comments about this product:

I was expecting, at least, historically accurate timelines and verified truths - too many "Some say" "Many have surmised" "It could have been" statements, especially when it added nothing to the presentation. Bible citation of Acts 2:36 was actually the beginning of Acts 2:38, and still omitted "And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" - which is what Jesus promised he would send after he left! Who proof read the copy? No mention of Paul being personally taught by Jesus in the desert for three years (cf Galatians 1:11-12) which is why he called himself a legitimate Apostle of Christ! I wouldn't even watch the second disc after viewing the first.

This is a nice history of the first 2000 years of Christianity. Obviously there are different interpretations of historical events but I think it was well balanced.

Will use it for background information in an adult education class at my church. Wish they had done a better job of identifying sub sections sine each video is over three hours long.

        Comments about this product:

This set shows the true evolution of Christianity from the resurrection to the twentieth century. It is very historically accurate, with about two exceptions. It shows how politics, culture, philosophy, greed, power and geography have all been interwoven over time to develop the Christianity that we know today. Further, it shows Christianity as an early Jewish cult, through the Holy Roman Empire, then the schism of the Protestant Reformation, the Church of England to the split of the Methodists, Mormons, etc...in America.
This is a must see for any history buff or a spiritual person, no matter what faith that be.
