Casablanca: 70th Anniversary Edition (Blu-ray + DVD)

SKU ID #367163
Casablanca: easy to enter, but much harder to leave, especially if you're wanted by the Nazis. This is how the story goes on the Casablanca: 70th Anniversary Edition DVD and Blu-ray. Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) is a Resistance leader, whose only hope is Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a cynical American who sticks his neck out for no one – especially Victor's wife Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), the ex-lover who broke his heart. Ilsa offers herself in exchange for Laszlo's transport out of the country and bitter Rick must decide what counts more — personal happiness or countless lives hanging in the balance.

Winner of three Academy Awards including Best Picture, Casablanca marks its 70th anniversary on on video as a beloved favorite with so many bonuses that no matter how often you've seen it, this beautiful 70th Anniversary—Limited and Numbered Edition—looks like yet another beginning of a beautiful friendship with an unforgettable classic.

    Comments about this product:

With the current events in Pairs and the French National Anthem being sung at many events to show support of France reminds me of the scene in Rick's American Café when the Germans sing and Rick oks the band to strike the French National Anthem and the feel that comes through, good verses bad and how it makes such a strong statement even with the passage of time.

      Comments about this product:

This is an all-time favorite movie, the characters, the historical fiction approach to a pivotal time in world history. Cast perfectly, chemistry bouncing of the screen.

Just be aware, this special ed. package is 1 DVD with the movie, and all the special stuff is on Blueray.
